Adding Fasturtle to Your Website Domain
- In order for our team to complete your service, you will need to provide Fasturtle with access to your website domain name host.
A domain host is an internet service that manages your domain name such as YOURWEBSITE.com and is where the DNS settings for your website and email are managed. Domain hosts will be different for every website but some of the most common domain hosts include GoDaddy, Network Solutions, and HostGator.
Step 1.
Locate where your domain is registered. Your domain host is typically who you bought your domain name from. If you don’t remember who your domain host is, try these methods:
- Search your email archives for billing records that mention domain registration, domain renewal or transfer of your domain name. Your domain host will be listed on your invoice.
- If you can’t find your billing records, you can search for your domain host online using a lookup tool to find your domain host.
- Go to lookup.icann.org.
- In the search field, enter your domain name and click the Lookup button.
- In the results page, scroll down to Registrar Information.
The registrar name is usually your domain host.
- If you still need help identifying your domain host, you can contact the Fasturtle Website Support team to assist.
Step 2.
Once you have identified your domain host, sign in with the username and password credentials you used when you purchased or transferred your domain. If you forgot your password, contact the domain host’s support team
Step 3.
Provide your domain host username and password to the Fasturtle team.
Step 4.
All set! Fasturtle now has access to your domain.
What if I do not have access or am unable to find what my domain login is?
Domain access is typically set up when a website is initially built. We recommend contacting the developer who built your website and request they provide you with domain access to your domain.
